Buffy the Dog needs a home
Buffy had a rough start before being rescued. Before becoming a SAAP dog, she was covered in mange and afraid of everyone. She was terrified of crates and hated car rides. She had alot of fears and anxieties back then. Since she has been in her foster home for the last few months, she has relaxed and learned to trust more. She has also been thru training to help her work thru some of her issues and she has done very well! So much more of her personality has come thru and let me tell you, she is a playful, goofy, affectionate girl who loves the outdoors!
She would probably do best with older kids and dogs more her size because she still tends to play rough. She really doesn’t know her own strength, but she listens well and really tries to behave. She also loves toys and chewys! Her potty training has also come a long way! She hardly ever has accidents anymore! She now loves her crate and we suggest crating her when unsupervised to keep her from chewing on things she shouldn’t and for potty training.
The most important thing about Buffy is that she is going to need time to adjust to her new home, so slow intros to other dogs and people is a must. You would also meet with the trainer who has worked with Buffy to ensure it’s the right fit and to make sure you are informed of what works best for her.
